Lapland Image Bank License Terms

1. Usage Rights and Permitted Use

When you purchase an image from Lapland Image Bank, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the image for the following purposes:

• Websites
• Social media
• Advertising videos
• Brochures
• Stickers and advertising decals
• Product packaging

Cropping, editing, and combining images with other images is permitted.

2. Usage Restrictions

The use of images is prohibited for the following purposes:

• Postcards, posters, or other printed products where the purchased image is the main focus
• Resale or re-licensing of images in other stock photo websites
• Use of images as a logo or trademark without separate permission
• Use that includes trademarks or copyrighted material without necessary rights
• Use of portrait images for offensive or stigmatizing purposes

3. Copyright and Source Attribution

The copyright of the image remains with the photographer and Lapland Image Bank. The image must not be presented as self-taken or self-created.

If the usage context allows, the source should be mentioned with the image, for example:
Image: [Photographer’s name] / Lapland Image Bank

4. Image Publication and Protection

Images must not be published without a purchased license. Preview images in the image bank have a watermark to protect against unauthorized use.

5. Other Considerations

• Species identifications appearing in the image bank may be incorrect or incomplete. If you notice an error, please inform us.
• Image resolution varies depending on the camera and cropping. The resolution of the purchasable image is always stated on the image page.
• We reserve the right to change the license terms without separate notice.

6. Validity

These license terms are valid from the date they were last updated.
